Diamex collects the following personal data from users during registration: full name, profile picture, mobile number (for login authentication), contact address, email address, GIA certificate, Aadhaar card, PAN card, company Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, trade membership proof, and three references from the diamond industry, including reference company name, authorized representative, and contact information. Financial information and GIA certificates may also be collected for trade purposes. Cookies are used to enhance user experience and personalize the app.
2. Purpose of Data Collection
We collect and process personal data to verify user identity, facilitate trade, and improve the app’s overall functionality and user experience. Diamex does not sell personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We may share personal data with other users for trade purposes and with government authorities or law enforcement in cases of suspected fraud or illegal activity. Personal data will only be shared with verified users or in compliance with applicable law.
4. Data Security
Diamex implements strict security protocols to protect user data. Only verified users have access to certain personal information necessary for trade, and all data is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access. We regularly update our security measures to address potential risks.
5. User Rights
Users have the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data at any time. Upon account deletion, all personal data will be permanently erased from our servers.
6. Data Retention
Diamex retains user data for the duration of their active account registration. Upon account deletion, Diamex will cease processing and permanently erase the user’s data.
7. Age Restriction
Only individuals who are of legal age and actively engaged in the diamond and jewelry industry are eligible to use Diamex. The platform does not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. International Data Transfer
Personal data may be shared with verified users across the globe for the purpose of trade facilitation. Such transfers are subject to data protection regulations in each jurisdiction.
9. Changes to Privacy Policy
Diamex reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Users will be notified of any significant changes through email and in-app notifications.
